Our company's story

Over the years, Fast Maxi Courier has grown and expanded its services many times. Founded in 1959 by Max Marcus, he was then known as Max's Taxi. In the beginning, Max dedicated himself solely to servicing the customs broker. He built a reputation by continuously providing a dependable service along with integrity and loyalty; not only to his clientele but to their patrons as well.

Over the years, Max and his son Allen began presenting entries to customs and once cleared, delivering small shipments to the consignee's door. In turn, the consignee clearly saw the potential of the now Mr. Messenger providing them with a quality courier service. This allowed growth once more and now became Maxi Courier Service. Max and Allen together continuously adapted the company's operations according to their clients needs. For a few years, Max's son-in-law Ralph became a valuable member of the team. They employed additional drivers and bikers as well as bought Fast Courier, which was operating at the once known Dorval Airport.

Today

Today, Allen is sole owner and operator of Fast Maxi Courier Service, and his son Sean is one of 20 persons on the road. This includes bikers, drivers, and small trucks. Although Max officially retired a few years ago, many clients will occasionally see him pop in to do a pickup or delivery and are happy to take a few minutes to reminisce.
